Revamping Middle School Math

Help me give my students classroom stools for additional seating, clipboards and whiteboards for different ways for them to show what they are capable of, and other supplies that help keep a well organized classroom.

My Project

I am excited to start my new school year in my new classroom setting. This year, our school has committed to block classes. In other words, I have more consecutive minutes in my classroom with my students each day. This extra time is great because I will be able to work more closely with each student each day. Due to the longer classes, I am looking to revamp my teaching routine to add in more ways where students can get more interested in math.

I love the idea of creating additional ways students can learn.

For example, adding in additional seating like stools into the classroom. This will allow students to move around the classroom more freely and provide more collaborative work time. I have requested mini whiteboards and clipboards to allow students to express their work in different ways. It also helps them to get up and move.

I have also added in other classroom needs such as turn in bins, pencil holders and paper organizers to help keep my classroom well organized and less cluttered. I believe my school is special and my students deserve these supplies this year. I am looking forward to my new classroom opening in just a few short weeks! Thank you for your consideration.
