My Project

My students in the Occupational Course of Study (OCS) program at West Mecklenburg High School are working hard to build the academic, social, and job-readiness skills they need for life after graduation. Every day, they learn responsibility, independence, and teamwork while preparing for future employment and successful adult lives.

A welcoming, well-stocked classroom helps make that possible.

Many students arrive without basic school supplies or need a quick snack to stay focused throughout the day. Having pencils, notebooks, classroom essentials, and healthy snacks readily available ensures that every student has what they need to fully participate in learning without worrying about whether they have the necessary materials.

Your support will help create a classroom where students feel valued, prepared, and confident from the moment they walk through the door. By providing these everyday essentials, you're not only meeting immediate needs—you are helping students build confidence, stay engaged, and focus on learning the skills that will prepare them for bright futures.
