My Project

Our students are remarkable young people with endless potential, creativity, and resilience. Yet every day, they face increasing levels of anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, and stress. When emotions become overwhelming, many struggle to stay in class and miss valuable learning opportunities. A Hybrid Mental Health Room will give them a safe, welcoming place to reset, regulate, and return to learning. With both a Cardio Zone for movement and a Zen Zone for calm, students will have options that meet their unique needs.

For many of my students, this will be the first time they have access to a supportive environment designed specifically for their mental wellness.

They are bright, determined, and full of promise, but they often carry heavy burdens that make school feel overwhelming. This space will help them build healthy coping skills, improve focus, reduce behavioral referrals, and learn to advocate for their emotional needs. With compact cardio tools, sensory‑friendly seating, soft lighting, yoga mats, journals, and coping‑skills visuals, an empty room will be transformed into a therapeutic sanctuary where students can breathe, move, and grow stronger.

This room will be more than just a physical space—it will be a lifeline. It will give students a structured, stigma‑free place to regulate their emotions, reduce stress, and return to class ready to learn. By supporting this project, you are investing in their well‑being, their education, and their future. You are helping extraordinary young people discover that their challenges do not define them, and that with the right tools, stress can truly turn into strength.
