Screen Free Coding Made Fun with Botley 2.0 Coding Robots

Help me give my students Botley 2.0 Coding Robots and the acessory sets to enhance STEM learning.

My Project

Botley 2.0 Coding Robots, along with their accessory sets, will provide my elementary STEM students with an engaging, hands-on introduction to coding and engineering concepts.

Botley robots use screen-free coding, requiring students to focus on developing computational thinking skills by creating sequences, identifying patterns, and solving problems without the distraction of a device.

As they program the robots to complete challenges, students will strengthen critical thinking, logical reasoning, and perseverance while learning that mistakes are valuable opportunities for growth and improvement.

The accessory sets expand learning by allowing students to design obstacle courses, engineering challenges, and real-world problem-solving activities. Students will plan, test, evaluate, and redesign their coding solutions using the engineering design process. They will collaborate with classmates, communicate their ideas, and analyze the effectiveness of their programs while exploring concepts such as sequencing, algorithms, debugging, measurement, spatial reasoning, and cause-and-effect relationships. These experiences align with elementary STEM standards and help students build confidence in both coding and engineering practices.
