My Project

My fourth-grade students work hard every day, but there's one challenge they face that can make learning difficult, our lunch period isn't until 1:30 p.m. That's a long time for growing children to wait before having a meal, and many students arrive at school without enough to sustain them through the morning.

By the time the afternoon arrives, hunger can make it difficult for students to focus, participate in discussions, and do their best work.

A simple snack can make a tremendous difference by providing the energy they need to stay engaged and ready to learn.

This project will stock our classroom with individually packaged snacks that students can enjoy when they need a boost. These snacks aren't just food, they're an investment in my students' ability to concentrate, build confidence, and reach their full potential.

When students don't have to worry about hungry stomachs, they can focus on what matters most: learning, growing, and believing in themselves.
