My Project

This year, I am working at 2 schools, and I need to restock my diverse art supplies, which will be split between both schools.

Art provides children with a powerful way to communicate, explore their creativity, and process their emotions.

This project will provide a diverse collection of art supplies that will allow my elementary students to express themselves through painting, drawing, coloring, collage, and mixed-media creations.

Many young learners are still developing the skills to identify and manage their emotions. Creative art experiences offer a safe, engaging outlet for self-expression while helping students build emotional regulation, confidence, resilience, and problem-solving skills. Whether they are creating calming artwork after a challenging moment or celebrating their unique ideas, these materials will support both their social-emotional growth and academic success.

With access to a variety of high-quality art supplies, every student will have the opportunity to create meaningful projects that reflect their individual experiences, cultures, and imaginations. These materials will encourage creativity, foster a positive classroom environment, and help students develop healthy ways to express their thoughts and feelings.
