My Project

Every day, my students gather in small groups to strengthen their reading skills. This is where they build confidence, practice new strategies, and celebrate their growth as readers. Having a comfortable and supportive learning space makes a meaningful difference in their ability to stay engaged and focused.

Our current stools have been well-loved over the years, but they are no longer as sturdy as they once were.

Replacing them with new, durable stools will provide students with a safe and comfortable place to learn during our small-group reading instruction. These stools are also more comfortable than traditional classroom chairs, allowing students to sit comfortably while remaining attentive during lessons.

Comfortable seating helps eliminate distractions, encourages better posture, and creates an inviting space where students can fully focus on learning. When students are comfortable, they are more likely to participate in discussions, take risks as readers, and stay engaged throughout instruction.
