My Project

School counselors choose to pursue National Board Certification to strengthen their professional practice and demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality support for students. This professional development process encourages reflection, growth, and the use of evidence-based counseling strategies that improve student outcomes. As an experienced school counselor and educator completing the process for Components 2, 3, and 4, I will experience ongoing reflection and documented evidence of how I can contribute meaningfully to students' academic achievement, social-emotional development, and college and career readiness.
