Help me give my students a color printer for quality colored images, primary sources, and documents to analyze and promote critical thinking skills.

My Project

Help me provide students with high-quality primary sources, photographs, political cartoons, and a variety of other sources. A high quality colored printer will bring these images to life provide students with clear images and help engage students while analyzing the sources. Not only will these high-quality images help students become engaged in activities, they will also promote critical thinking skills and teach about perspective, identifying bias, understanding contextualization, and the purpose of the creation of these sources.

When images, documents, and other sources are limited to low quality copies or black-and-white, they can deter a student's ability to be fully emerged in the context of the sources and limit their ability to analyze the sources or documents.

Providing high-quality, high-resolution colored images will promote visual literacy, support student inquiry, and aid in the teaching and retention of reading/analyzing a plethora of sources, as well as help students acquire and retain a skill set that will promote college and/or career readiness.
