My Project

I love that my students come to school each day with curiosity, excitement, and a willingness to try new things. First graders are at such a special age where they are discovering who they are as learners, and it is amazing to watch their confidence grow as they learn new skills.

These resources will help my students by giving them access to a classroom library filled with engaging, age-appropriate books that meet them where they are as readers.

Having floor cushions and a variety of books to choose from will allow students to practice important reading skills, build fluency, strengthen comprehension, and develop a genuine love of reading.
