Help me give my students an understanding of patterns of weather and factors that affect weather. With this weather station students will learn how Earth's systems effect weather.

My Project

The joke in Eastern Norther Carolina is, If you don’t like the weather, just wait, it will change tomorrow! Students observe the weather every day. But most students don’t understand how or why it changes. Providing students with a Weather Station, they can learn specific details about their local environment, such as temperature, humidity, barometric pressure and how those affect weather.

Our school is a Title I school, where a high population receives community-based services.

Students have limited opportunities to complete experiments that encourage students’ curiosity and interest to build their understanding of the world through observations and investigations.

Please help the second grade of JCES gain scientific understanding of how and why the weather changes.
