Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These materials will help me create a classroom writing station to enhance their writing skills. My classroom writing station is a place that all students go to for writing experiences. The writing station is set up for all students, including students who struggle with fine motor skills. In the writing station, the children can sit at a desk or on the carpet at their choice. Every student will learn to form letters before they begin writing complete sentences, and they will also complete writing assignments.

The use of whiteboards and writing paper will be used as daily activities in my classroom, especially during reading, writing, and math lessons.

The whiteboards, writing paper, and dry erase folders will allow each student to show and share their work and give me the opportunity to see their writing progress.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
