Roar Into Calm

Help me give my students a weighted lap pad, sensory fidget tools, a soft floor cushion and a laminated rules/breathing set, so they can build increasing independence as they learn to recognize their emotional state.

My Project

My students are curious, big-hearted, and still learning how to name and manage big feelings — and I love watching them grow into that.

The weighted lap pad and floor cushion give calming, comforting pressure.

Soft LED lights create a peaceful glow. Fidget tools and sand timers give hands-on focus and a clear sense of time. Feelings check-in cards help students identify emotions and ask for what they need. Laminated rules and breathing posters teach independence, and the storage basket keeps everything ready for the next student who needs it.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
