My Project

My goal is to create a math and science classroom where students are excited to explore, experiment, problem-solve, and learn through hands-on experiences. These resources will help my students become confident, curious, and increasingly independent learners.

The science and STEM materials will allow students to experience concepts beyond a textbook.

The solar system model, hologram projectors, pH kits, microscope slides, plant-growing kit, and science experiment kits will give students opportunities to observe, investigate, build, and make real-world connections to the concepts we are learning.

The LEGO Education Computer Science and AI Kit will introduce students to coding, engineering, technology, problem-solving, and collaboration while allowing them to apply their math and science skills in a fun and engaging way.

This project also includes everyday resources that support student learning. Pencils will ensure students always have access to an essential classroom tool, while headphones will allow students to independently complete digital lessons, assessments, and technology-based activities.

The snacks, cereal, and bottled water will help support students who may arrive late and miss breakfast or need something during the school day to help them stay focused and ready to learn. Individually wrapped treats will also serve as small incentives to celebrate effort, participation, perseverance, academic growth, and positive choices.

Together, these resources will help create a classroom where students have the tools, support, and encouragement they need to learn by doing, and see themselves as future scientists, mathematicians, engineers, and problem-solvers.
