My Project

My students come to school carrying more than backpacks. Many are navigating stress, anxiety, family challenges, and big emotions that can make it difficult to focus and learn. These resources will help create a safe, welcoming environment where students feel supported and understood. The beanbags will provide a comfortable space for calming down, reading, or participating in counseling sessions. Social-emotional learning games, fidgets, and books will teach healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and positive peer interactions through engaging activities. Snacks will help meet immediate needs so students can better concentrate and fully participate in learning. The mini refrigerator will safely store perishable snacks and drinks for students who come to school hungry or need nourishment during the day, ensuring these items remain fresh and readily available when students need them most.
