This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my fifth-grade students are curious, resilient, and eager to learn. They come to school each day with unique talents, perspectives, and experiences that make our classroom community special. My students thrive when they have the resources and support needed to feel confident, engaged, and successful.

The document camera will allow me to model lessons, demonstrate problem-solving strategies, and share student work with the entire class in real time.

This visual support helps all learners better understand concepts and stay actively involved in instruction.

Paper and pencils are classroom essentials that students use every day for writing, note-taking, practicing math skills, completing assignments, and expressing their creativity. Having a reliable supply ensures that every student can participate fully in learning activities without barriers.

Healthy snacks help meet students' basic needs so they can focus on learning. For some students, a snack can make the difference between struggling to concentrate and being fully engaged during instruction.

Classroom borders and décor will help create a welcoming, organized, and inspiring learning environment. A classroom that is visually appealing and thoughtfully designed fosters a sense of belonging, pride, and excitement about learning.

These resources will help create a classroom where students feel supported, prepared, and motivated to achieve their goals.
