Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In my 5th grade Spanish dual language immersion classroom, students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds work hard every day to grow academically and personally. To help them reflect on that journey, I am creating a "Click Into Learning" wall where they’ll pair personal reflections with instant photos of proud learning moments. With your support in providing Instax Mini film, I can capture powerful moments, like students presenting a project, helping a classmate, or mastering a new concept—and turn them into lasting memories they can take pride in. These printed photos will bring their growth to life in a visible, emotional, and empowering way.

This project will build student confidence, emotional awareness, and ownership of learning.

Many of my students do not have printed pictures of themselves at home, so this experience will feel extra special. It gives them a chance to celebrate small wins and big breakthroughs, while practicing written reflection in both Spanish and English. Your donation will not only provide film, but it will create a space of celebration and belonging in our classroom.
