Help me give my students a welcoming and comfortable classroom! After 3 years of teaching, I have learned what new materials are needed to build a successful and inclusive learning environment.

My Project

These resources will help my students as I am able to create a reading nook for them to independently read their books in a comfortable environment within the classroom. I am encouraging students to independently read books that interest them, and they will complete projects telling their classmates about their books and what they enjoyed or didn't enjoy. Reading independently helps with their reading comprehension and their ability to be successful throughout the year and in the future. Having students pick their own books will make them more likely to read.

I also added general classroom supplies, which will make us successful throughout the year!
