Decoding Dreams, One Word at a Time

Help me give my students the opportunity to become confident, successful readers by providing engaging, research-based literacy resources that meet their unique learning needs.

My Project

Every child learns differently, but they all share one goal: becoming confident readers. Watching a student read a word or sentence independently for the first time is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching.

Research-based, hands-on literacy resources will give my students the support they need to become successful readers.

The Lakeshore Phonics Skill-Building Book Sets will help students apply the phonics skills they are learning through engaging decodable texts. The Lakeshore Word Family Flip Books will strengthen phonemic awareness, word recognition, and decoding through interactive, hands-on practice. The Riakrum Flexible Floor Cushions will create a comfortable small-group reading space where students can stay focused, actively participate, and enjoy learning to read.

My goal is to create a literacy-rich intervention space where every student can build foundational reading skills, confidence, and independence. These resources will be used daily to support reading intervention and help my students experience the joy and success of becoming lifelong readers.
