This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sensory Regulation & Focus Tools

Students in a special education setting particularly those with ADHD, Autism, or anxiety often require sensory input to regulate their nervous systems so they can focus on learning.

Chair Bands for Fidgety Feet: These provide a quiet, non-disruptive outlet for physical energy.

Fidget Packs, Pop Toys, Wacky Tracks, & Stress Balls: These tools help regulate a student’s sensory system.

"54321 Calm" Wall Banner: This visual serves as a critical, evidence-based psychological tool for grounding.

Specialized & Adapted Learning Materials

These items turn abstract concepts into tangible, interactive experiences.

Reusable Write & Wipe Pockets & Expo Markers: These are highly valuable for scaffolding. Teachers can slide custom worksheets, graphic organizers, or tracing sheets into these pockets.

Sentence Building Kits & Magnetic Sentence Strips: For students with speech delays, dyslexia, or learning disabilities, manipulation is key.

Parts of Speech & Reading Posters: Visual reminders act as permanent cognitive anchors.

Essential Daily Supplies & Combating Food Insecurity

In low-income schools, a lack of basic supplies directly impacts a child's dignity and readiness to learn.

Bulk Snacks (Goldfish & Cheez-Its): It is impossible to teach a hungry child. Many students in low-income areas arrive at school without breakfast or face food insecurity at home.

Bulk Pencils, Notebooks, Highlighters, & Markers: Many families cannot fulfill a standard school supply list.

Inspirational Boho Decor, Calendar, & Garlands: Special education classrooms can sometimes feel clinical due to testing materials and therapeutic equipment.

Punch Cards & Stickers: Positive reinforcement is the backbone of behavior management.
