Help me give my students a playground where they can learn, explore, move, and belong. We are seeking support to transform our outdoor space into an inclusive learning environment that promotes creativity, physical wellness, social-emotional development, for students.

My Project

Our school serves children with a wide range of abilities, learning styles, and backgrounds. For many of our students, recess and outdoor learning provide essential opportunities to build confidence, strengthen friendships, regulate emotions, and develop healthy habits. Unfortunately, our existing playground offers limited opportunities for inclusive play, sensory exploration, and collaborative learning.

With your support, we hope to create a vibrant outdoor learning space featuring:

Nature Play Elements such as logs, boulders, native gardens, and natural exploration areas that encourage imaginative play, environmental stewardship, and problem-solving.

This playground will become much more than a place for recess. Teachers will use the space to extend classroom learning into the outdoors through science investigations, math challenges, literacy activities, art exploration, and cooperative learning experiences. Students will practice teamwork, leadership, communication, and critical thinking while enjoying fresh air and physical activity.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
