My Project

The beginning of a new school year is the perfect time to help students reconnect with reading. When students return to our media center, I want them to discover fresh, engaging books that immediately capture their attention and remind them that the library is a place filled with possibilities.

This project will add new titles that reflect a wide range of interests, reading abilities, and experiences.

Students will be able to explore exciting stories, discover unfamiliar topics, and find books they are eager to take home. Having fresh choices available can be especially motivating for students who have not yet found the kinds of books that make reading feel enjoyable.

These new books will help us begin the year by building positive reading habits and encouraging independent book selection. By giving students access to inviting, high-interest titles from the very start, this project will help create excitement that can carry throughout the school year.
