My Project

As a first-year special education teacher, I have the privilege of teaching 7th and 8th grade Science and Social Studies to an incredible group of students with diverse learning needs. My goal is to create a classroom where every student feels supported, capable, and excited to learn. Many of my students benefit from hands-on activities, visual supports, flexible seating, and engaging resources that make learning more accessible and meaningful.

The items in this project will help transform our classroom into an environment where students can actively participate, stay organized, and build confidence.

Whether it’s supplies for interactive science experiments, materials for history projects, organizational tools, or classroom resources that encourage collaboration, every item will directly impact student learning.

Middle school can be a challenging time, especially for students who learn differently. By providing engaging and inclusive materials, I can help my students develop critical thinking skills, strengthen their independence, and foster a love of learning. These resources will not only support our daily lessons but also create a welcoming classroom where every student feels valued and has the opportunity to succeed.
