My Project

A kidney table will transform the way my students learn by creating a dedicated space for small-group instruction, guided reading, writing conferences, and individualized support. In my eighth-grade classroom, students have a wide range of learning needs, and this table will allow me to meet with small groups to provide targeted instruction while the rest of the class works independently.

Meeting in a small-group setting encourages students to ask questions, participate in meaningful discussions, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

Whether we are analyzing literature, strengthening reading comprehension, improving writing skills, or preparing for assessments, students will receive immediate feedback and instruction tailored to their needs.

This resource will also foster collaboration as students work together to solve problems, discuss ideas, and learn from one another. By creating a comfortable, organized space for personalized learning, this kidney table will help every student feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow academically.
