Staying Hydrated and In the Classroom

Help me give my students access to water throughout the day without disrupting their learning!

My Project

I am reaching out to ask for your help in providing a set of reusable water bottles for my wonderful fourth and fifth-grade students. As we work hard each day to build a strong, focused learning community, staying hydrated plays a huge role in keeping our minds sharp and ready to learn.

At this grade level, our daily schedule is packed with important lessons, and every single minute of instructional time counts.

Right now, students frequently have to leave the classroom to walk down the hallway to the water fountain. While a quick drink seems simple, these trips add up over the course of a day and cause students to miss out on key directions, group discussions, and valuable teaching time. By having a personal water bottle at their desks, students can easily stay hydrated without any disruption to their learning or the flow of the classroom.

Beyond saving precious instructional time, having these water bottles will help us establish healthy daily habits. Drinking enough water keeps energy levels up and helps students maintain their focus during independent work and long afternoon blocks. It also gives the kids a wonderful opportunity to practice responsibility as they learn to take care of their own bottle, keep it clean, and make sure it is filled at the start of the day.

By supporting this project, you are directly helping my students maximize their learning time and stay healthy throughout the school year. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a huge impact on our classroom family. Thank you so much for your incredible kindness and support!
