My Project

My students are active, hands-on learners who thrive when they have the right tools and a clean, organized space to work. In our classroom, we use a wide range of materials every day—writing, cutting, gluing, building, and collaborating—so essential supplies are used quickly and must be consistently restocked.

This project will provide classroom essentials such as glue sticks, glue, scissors, crayons, markers, index cards, book bins, and storage bins.

These materials are used across all subject areas and allow students to complete hands-on activities, participate in centers, and practice skills independently.

We are also focused on maintaining a healthy classroom environment. Disinfecting wipes and hand sanitizer will help reduce germs and keep students healthy, present, and ready to learn. A clean classroom supports better focus and fewer interruptions to instruction.

Having these resources available will help students stay organized, work more independently, and take ownership of their learning space. Instead of spending valuable instructional time managing missing or shared materials, we can focus on small group instruction, skill building, and student growth in reading, writing, and math.

Impact on Students

These materials directly support student engagement, independence, and classroom community. Students will be able to access their own supplies, keep organized workspaces using bins, and complete daily assignments without delay. A well-stocked and clean environment helps students feel safe, focused, and ready to learn.

In a high-needs classroom, basic supplies are essential tools for learning, not extras. When students have what they need from the start, they build confidence, stay engaged longer, and take greater ownership of their learning. This project removes barriers so every student can fully participate and succeed.
