My Project

My second-grade students work hard every day to learn, grow, and achieve their goals. However, hunger can make it difficult for children to focus, participate, and fully engage in classroom learning.

I am requesting healthy snacks to help ensure that my students have the nourishment they need throughout the school day.

Many of my students come from families facing financial challenges, and some arrive at school hungry or without a snack. Having a supply of nutritious snacks available in our classroom will help students stay focused, energized, and ready to learn.

Healthy snacks such as granola bars, crackers, fruit cups, applesauce pouches, and other nutritious options will provide students with the fuel they need to be successful. When students are not distracted by hunger, they can better concentrate on lessons, participate in discussions, and build positive relationships with their classmates.

By supporting this project, you are helping create a classroom where every child feels cared for and has access to the basic necessities that support learning. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on my students' academic success and overall well-being.
