Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious, hardworking, and full of energy, and they come to class with a strong desire to learn and improve every day. They thrive in a classroom that is structured, supportive, and engaging, especially when they are given opportunities for hands-on activities and clear routines. What makes my students special is their resilience and willingness to participate, even when learning becomes challenging. I always prepare ahead of time so that I can create a classroom environment where every student feels supported, valued, and ready to learn from the moment they walk in.

These resources will make a meaningful difference in my students’ learning by helping create a quiet, organized, and focused classroom environment.

Tennis balls for chair legs will significantly reduce noise in the classroom, allowing students to focus better during instruction and independent work. An electric stapler will help me efficiently prepare worksheets, learning packets, and student materials ahead of time, maximizing instructional time and reducing classroom disruptions. Organizers will help keep materials neat and accessible, teaching students responsibility and making transitions smoother. Notebooks will give students a consistent place to write, reflect, and complete learning activities. Pencils and Elmer’s glue will ensure students always have the basic tools they need for writing, projects, and interactive learning activities.

My goal for this project is to build a classroom where students can focus, collaborate, and engage deeply in their learning without unnecessary interruptions or lack of materials. I want every student to feel prepared, confident, and supported each day, knowing that the tools they need are always available. With these resources, I hope to strengthen classroom organization, increase student engagement, and create a positive learning environment where all students can succeed.
