My Project

My PreK students are curious, creative, and eager to learn. They come to school each day excited to explore new ideas, ask questions, and share their thoughts with others. I love watching their confidence grow as they develop new skills and discover the joy of learning through play.

The puppets and puppet theater will be powerful tools for supporting our literacy curriculum.

Many of the puppets represent characters and themes from the books we read throughout the year, allowing students to retell stories, act out events, and strengthen their comprehension. Using puppets encourages children to expand their vocabulary, practice oral language skills, and build confidence in speaking in front of others. The puppet theater will provide a dedicated space for imaginative play, collaboration, and creative storytelling. Together, these resources will help my students develop essential early literacy, communication, and social-emotional skills while making learning engaging and meaningful.
