My Project

My students are creative, innovative, and eager to express themselves through music, audio production, podcasting, and digital storytelling. Many of them come to class with a passion for music and technology but have limited access to professional-grade equipment outside of school. I love watching them discover new talents, build confidence, and develop skills that can lead to future educational and career opportunities.

A MacBook Pro will provide the processing power needed to run industry-standard audio engineering, DJ, and podcasting software.

Students will use it to record and edit podcasts, create and mix music projects, develop mashups, produce multimedia content, and learn professional audio workflows. The device will also allow students to collaborate on creative projects while gaining hands-on experience with the same technology used by professionals in the audio and media industries.

By providing access to this resource, students will be able to engage in authentic, project-based learning experiences that foster creativity, critical thinking, communication, and technical skills. This technology will help bridge the digital divide and prepare students for college, careers, and opportunities in the rapidly growing fields of audio production and digital media.
