My Project

I teach at an alternative high school where students thrive with additional support, compassion, and encouragement. Many of my students face significant challenges in their daily lives, yet they demonstrate remarkable resilience and determination to earn their diploma. Our school is dedicated to empowering each student to overcome obstacles, build confidence, and successfully achieve their goal of graduating from high school.

The goal of this project is to provide students with flexible seating.

Our alternative high school serves students who often need additional support, encouragement, and opportunities to learn in ways that meet their individual needs. Flexible seating will transform our classroom into a welcoming, student-centered environment where learners can choose seating that helps them feel comfortable, focused, and engaged. By providing options that encourage movement, self-regulation, and collaboration, we can create a space where every student feels valued and empowered to succeed.
