Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a first-year teacher, I realized a lot of things that I never really considered before. One of the biggest things was that my students love to follow my lead. If I was doing my notes in pen, they wanted to also. If I was coloring with markers, they wanted to also. Due to this, I want to be prepared to give my upcoming 5th graders the same opportunity to embrace that colorful side of learning.

My students are more engaged when their learning does not look dull.

Along with engaging my students, I want to be able to reward the good behavior that comes along with it. That's where the treats and toys come in!
