My Project

My classroom is filled with hardworking students from low-income families who deserve engaging, supportive learning opportunities every day. During small group reading instruction, students need a safe, comfortable space where they can work closely with their teacher, build confidence, and strengthen essential literacy skills. A new kidney table and new stacking chairs would provide the perfect space for targeted instruction, guided reading groups, and meaningful student discussions.

In addition, a classroom set of headphones would allow students to fully participate in online reading programs, listen to audiobooks, complete literacy interventions, and stay focused during independent learning time without distractions.

Many of my students rely heavily on school resources for access to technology and individualized support. We currently have to borrow from other classes when we need headphones so this would mean a lot to our students to have their own.

These materials would help create a more effective, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every child can succeed. Your generosity would directly impact students by giving them the tools they need to improve reading fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
