My Project

My kindergarten students walk into our classroom each day full of wonder, energy, and excitement to learn. At five and six years old, learning needs to feel alive, interactive, and meaningful to truly capture their hearts and minds. Many of my students learn best when they can move, touch, see, and actively participate in lessons rather than simply watch from their seats.

An interactive Promethean board would completely transform the way my students experience learning.

It would allow them to physically engage with literacy, math, science, and social-emotional lessons in ways that feel exciting, inclusive, and memorable. Instead of passively observing, my students would become active participants in their own learning journey.

As technology continues to become a staple in today’s classrooms, my students deserve access to the same engaging learning experiences available in more highly funded schools and districts. This board would help create a classroom environment where every child can clearly see, interact, collaborate, and feel confident participating. For many of my students, kindergarten is where they first discover whether school feels joyful and inspiring. I want my classroom to be a place where learning comes to life and where every child feels excited to walk through the door each morning.
