This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As I prepare for a new school year, my goal is to create an organized environment that makes transitions between whole-class lessons, independent practice, and small-group work seamless and efficient. During our instructional block, I’ll work with students in small groups while their classmates sharpen their skills independently using Chromebooks, whiteboards, and other materials. A successful small-group intervention depends on students having immediate access to the tools they need, which reduces interruptions from searching, waiting, or asking for other supplies. Minimizing these interruptions helps students maintain focus, transition smoothly, and stay engaged while receiving the support they require.

By supporting our classroom, you’re helping build a space where students can spend more time learning and less time managing materials.

The materials outlined in this project are essential for helping students concentrate while waiting for their turn in small groups. The laminator and reusable dry-erase sheets will enable the creation of reusable instructional materials for year-round use. The magnetic graph chart, dry-erase supplies, and other essentials will allow students to actively participate and access materials efficiently. Together, we can foster independence and smooth transitions while enhancing the quality of targeted small-group support tailored to individual needs.
