My Project

My students thrive when they are able to collaborate, create, and learn in a calm and welcoming classroom environment. Our classroom is a busy, active space filled with movement, creativity, and hands-on learning. However, the constant scraping of chairs across the floor creates unnecessary noise and distractions that interrupt instruction and make it difficult for students to focus.

To help transform our classroom into a quieter and more colorful learning space, we are requesting pre-cut tennis balls for chair legs and vibrant markers for our classroom creation station.

The tennis balls will significantly reduce noise levels during transitions, group work, and independent learning time. A quieter classroom helps students stay focused, reduces sensory overload, and creates a more peaceful environment where every child can succeed. The pre-cut design also ensures safety and makes installation easy and efficient. The markers will support our classroom creation station, a dedicated space where students express their ideas through writing, drawing, labeling, brainstorming, and collaborative projects. Bright, high-quality markers encourage creativity and engagement while helping students take pride in their work. From anchor charts and STEM challenges to art integration and project-based learning activities, these supplies will be used daily. Together, these materials will help create a classroom that is both visually inviting and acoustically supportive. A colorful and quiet environment allows students to feel comfortable, inspired, and ready to learn.
