My Project

I would love to provide a variety of flexible seating options for my students.

My classroom consists of students with many different disabilities and individual needs, so having seating that is comfortable, supportive, and adaptable would make a tremendous difference in their ability to learn and participate throughout the school day.

Traditional school chairs are not always successful for my students. Many of them benefit from movement, sensory support, or seating that better fits their physical and emotional needs. Flexible seating can help improve focus, engagement, regulation, and overall classroom participation.

I am also hoping that having a variety of seating options available for every student will reduce conflicts over preferred seating choices. Providing each student with an appropriate designated seat can help create structure, increase independence, and improve classroom safety. My goal is to create a classroom environment where all students feel comfortable, supported, and ready to learn.
