Comfort Meets Concentration!

Help me give my students a classroom rug that provides a welcoming space for whole group learning and community building, along with flexible seating to support focus, comfort, reading, and engagement.

My Project

My first-grade students spend much of their day learning together on our classroom rug during morning meetings, read aloud, phonics lessons, and collaborative discussions. A large classroom rug that comfortably seats all students will provide a dedicated gathering space where very child feels included, engaged, and ready to learn.

In addition, a jumbo bean bag will create a flexible seating option in our classroom library and small group learning areas.

Many young learners benefit from having a comfortable space to sit while reading, working independently, or participating in targeted instruction. Flexible seating helps students stay focused, supports different learning styles, and encourages a positive relationship with reading and learning.

Every child in my classroom is special and brings unique strengths, interests, and talents to our learning community. Just as each student has their own personality, gifts, and way of learning, my students also thrive when their individual needs are recognized and supported.

Together, these resources will help create a welcoming, student-centered classroom environment where all children can thrive.
