My Project

My students are some of the most creative, caring, and resilient learners I have ever worked with. As a K–2 special education resource teacher in a Title I charter school, I work with students who all learn in different ways and at different paces. Despite their challenges, they come to school each day excited to learn, grow, and celebrate even the smallest successes. Many of my students benefit from hands-on learning, movement, visuals, sensory supports, and interactive activities that help keep them engaged and confident during instruction.

The resources in this project will help create a more supportive and engaging learning environment where students can build academic and social-emotional skills in ways that meet their individual needs.

Items such as manipulatives, educational games, sensory tools, visual supports, flexible seating options, and differentiated learning materials will allow students to practice important reading, math, writing, and self-regulation skills through meaningful and interactive experiences.

These materials will not only increase student engagement, but they will also help students build confidence, independence, and positive learning behaviors. My goal is to make learning feel exciting, safe, and accessible for every student who enters my classroom. Your support will help provide opportunities for my students to learn in ways that are motivating, effective, and designed specifically for their unique abilities and strengths.
