My Project

My students are hardworking English learners with learning disabilities who benefit greatly from hands-on and emotionally supportive learning experiences. I am requesting funding for math manipulatives and feelings books that will help meet both their academic and social-emotional needs. Math manipulatives allow students to physically explore concepts, making abstract skills easier to understand and helping build confidence in problem-solving. These tools are especially important for students who need visual and tactile support to succeed.

In addition, feelings books provide opportunities for students to identify emotions, develop self-awareness, and strengthen communication skills.

Many of my students face challenges expressing their feelings in English, and these resources will help create a safe and supportive classroom environment where they feel understood and valued.

These supports are truly needed and would make a meaningful difference in my students’ daily learning experiences. Your generosity would help provide tools that encourage growth, confidence, emotional well-being, and academic success for every child in our classroom.
