Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My EC Pre-K students are curious, energetic, and eager to learn through hands-on exploration and play. They learn best when they can touch, build, pretend, and interact with materials that connect to the world around them. Many of my students are developing early language, social-emotional, and fine motor skills, and engaging classroom centers help support their growth every day.

Our classroom is in need of interactive learning materials focused on animals, people, and transportation.

These themed materials will help students build vocabulary, practice social skills, and strengthen creativity through imaginative play.

With new toys, books, sensory tools, and dramatic play materials, students will explore animal habitats, learn about community helpers and families, and investigate how cars, trucks, and other vehicles move. These activities encourage communication, problem-solving, cooperation, and early STEM learning.

The requested materials will support:

Language and vocabulary development

Social-emotional learning

Fine motor skills

Imaginative and cooperative play

Early science and transportation concepts

The Impact

Hands-on learning experiences make a lasting impact in an EC Pre-K classroom. By providing engaging and developmentally appropriate materials, students will gain confidence, build relationships with peers, and strengthen foundational academic and life skills.

These resources will create an exciting classroom environment where every child can explore, discover, and learn through play.
