Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When a child sees themselves in a book, it changes their relationship with learning.

Your contribution isn't just buying paper and ink; it's providing the tools for a student to say, "I can read this," and "This character is just like me." Thank you for helping me build a more inclusive and literate future for these amazing kids!

With your generous donations, our classroom will receive:

Leveled Readers: These allow students to build confidence and fluency by reading books that match their current skill level, helping them progress at their own pace without frustration.

Bilingual Books: These provide vital "mirrors" for my English Language Learners (ELLs), allowing them to see their home languages celebrated and helping them bridge the gap between two worlds.

Neurodivergent Representation: Books featuring characters with ADHD, Autism, and other neurodivergent traits help foster empathy in the classroom and provide my neurodivergent students with the rare, beautiful experience of seeing their own strengths and challenges reflected on the page.
