My Project

I love how curious and hands-on my students are. They learn best when they can see math in action and connect it to real life. When lessons feel meaningful, they become more confident and willing to take risks.

These kitchen tools will turn our classroom into a space where math comes alive.

The slushie machine and coffee maker will help students explore ratios, fractions, and rates as they measure ingredients, adjust recipes, and analyze results. The air fryer will allow us to work with time, temperature, and data as students compare cooking methods and track outcomes.

Through these experiences, students will practice problem solving, budgeting, and critical thinking in a way that feels relevant and engaging. They will see that math is not just something on paper, but a skill they can use every day.
