All About That Bass, 'bout That Bass, and Treble!

Help me give my students more sound and more power to enhance their musical performances.

My Project

Over the past few years, we have been getting bigger and bolder with our performances. My students are enjoying working toward and presenting large scale musical productions when they get to 4th and 5th grade, and enjoy leading up with smaller musical performances. Since we have a space that is not very sound friendly, we have to keep on top of what works best for sound set up and options.

Enhancing our sound will help boost our students' confidence in being able to hear themselves and give our audiences a better performance.

Several years ago my PTA bought me a sound system that worked quite well, but now that we are growing, we need more power behind the controls. As technology had increased with sound engineering over the past few years, we need to stay up to date with the best for our students.

Being that this is a big request, I would love to welcome any donors to one of our shows, or to invite them to come. This year we were lucky enough to have a community member donate the use of his sound equipment to better achieve our sound goals. It would be nice to have something that we can call our own and be a more efficient arts program.
