My Project

My students are amazing middle school learners who benefit from structure, encouragement, and social-emotional support throughout the school day. Many of my students receive special education services and work hard each day to manage emotions, remain focused, and build confidence while learning grade-level skills.

The sensory tools, Calm Strips, and social-emotional learning resources in this project will help students develop self-regulation strategies and positive coping skills in a supportive classroom environment.

The printer and ink will allow me to create individualized materials, visual supports, graphic organizers, and modified assignments tailored to student needs. These resources will help create a calm, engaging classroom where students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
