My Project

Because they are still learning how to express emotions and interact with others, students benefit greatly from intentional social-emotional support. The resources in this project will give them the tools they need to grow in these areas in meaningful, age-appropriate ways.

In addition, hands-on activities and play-based materials will encourage cooperation, sharing, and teamwork.

Through guided play, students practice taking turns, resolving conflicts, and building positive relationships with their peers.

These resources will not only support their emotional well-being but also strengthen their readiness to learn. When children feel safe, understood, and equipped to manage their emotions, they are more engaged, confident, and successful in all areas of development.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
