My Project

What I love about my students is their resilience in the face of adversity. Being a population of students that are historically underserved, they always find a way to succeed and learn even when the materials provided are not the most appropriate or effective for them to learn.

The purpose of this funding campaign is to get a Promethean touch board for the EC adapted classrooms to use.

Students with more significant and complex disabilities have a difficult time accessing and interacting with educational materials.

With the implementation of a touch screen interface, students would be allowed to more meaningfully participate in lessons, thus gaining them access to a higher DOK level, allowing them the chance to more meaningfully participate in the "we do" portion of "I do" "We do" "You do." This aligns with the district's focus on explicit instruction.
