My Project

I teach first grade in a community with a high percentage of military families. They are a very diverse group of learners that have a lot of heart, guts, and willpower! My school is a Title I-funded school which means all students receive free breakfast and lunch. I love that they are hard workers and learn best with hands-on learning. My students are in need of supplies that include, pencils, paper, and erasers, glue, and a testing support to help them complete assignments and projects. Our class does lots of hands on activities were students can show their smarts through their arts.
