Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is designed to support my Kindergarten and 4th grade multilingual learners by combining hands on activities with literacy instruction to strengthen fine motor skills, writing, and reading development. Many of my students are building foundational English skills, and they benefit from engaging, interactive materials that make learning both accessible and meaningful. Through the use of manipulatives, students will develop fine motor control while practicing essential skills like forming letters, organizing their thoughts, and expressing ideas in writing.

In addition, this project will provide students with writing supplies and books that support their literacy growth.

Access to engaging texts will help build vocabulary, comprehension, and a love for reading, while dedicated writing materials will encourage students to practice and apply their language skills regularly.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
