Our listening center is heading into the 21st century!
We are a class of twenty-six English Language Learners in a Michigan kindergarten classroom.
Many of us have not been lucky enough to go to pre-school, so this is our first time in school! We are all five years old, although some of us will turn six soon! For most of us, school is the only opportunity for us to pick up a good book!
My Project
With times changing and technology being a bigger part of our lives, having a Nook Color in our classroom will forever change our classroom! A Nook Color ereader will inspire my boys to read more and create a love for reading. We will be able to protect our new Nook with a cover and I will be able to purchase wonderful books for our new Nook. I will have the capability to connect up to six Nooks to my account, therefore saving money and space in our classroom!
By supporting this project, you will help to create a love for reading in my classroom, especially for the boys in my class.
You will give 26 children a boost in their education by providing them with technology to help them be lifelong learners.
